OUR ISSUES

Our issues are clear. By 2050, there will be a further three billion people living on this planet, all in need of food, water, education, health care and income. With billions of people already living in poverty and dying from the consequences of global inequality, we need to act now to look after each other – today and for future generations.

Despite the daily threat of war and catastrophic environmental change, this is a world of great opportunity and promise. We are committed to achieving profound and meaningful change that benefits everyone in our global family.

OUR OPPORTUNITY

Our opportunity is driven by the huge acceleration of digital and advanced technologies over recent decades. This has already reshaped entire industries and cultures, but what we’ve experienced so far is only the beginning. Frontier technologies are full of potential, but they also present new challenges. We believe that we have the power to create the future we want, by using high impact technology for good.

OUR INITIATIVES

Our initiatives are based around five strategic focus areas: Survival, Safety, Strength, Success, and Sustainability. Each of these is vital to healthy family function, and for One Family, they are also springboards to a range of important causes. Our outlook is global and we are already working in Mozambique, Nepal, Somalia, Syria and the UK, tackling pervasive issues including human trafficking, refugee health, food security and water shortage.
